Tennessee State Capitol
After spending some time
in Jonesboro and Murfreesboro, the seat of government for the state
of Tennessee finally came to rest in Nashville.
The first capitol building
was used from 1812 to 1815 and was located on the site of
what is
now Hume Fogg school.
