About This Site Collected here are images of Nashville's
past. I started this project, because it fascinates me to realize how much I've forgotten about my surroundings when I was younger. I am a product of the 60's and 70's. Right on the cusp of the "boomers". Most of the really early stuff was being "urban renewaled" before my eyes. The really early stuff is a way to time-travel back to simpler times in middle Tennessee. As time permits, I will attempt to photograph the same area so we can see a before and after comparison. If you have anything
to add or would like to contribute a section of your own interest,
please email me ([email protected])
and I'll try to include it. Hope you enjoy! Contributors A big thanks to Chip Curley, Bill Grist, Beth Hardaway, Bill Harris, Robbie Harris, Patrick Hawkins, Medora Horton, Richard Justice, Tim Kernell, David Lewis, Ray Liggett, Dave Price, Mike Slate, Jim Sloan, Julie Steele, Jim Stephens, Ed Thackston, Lou Vodopya, Jeff Nixon & William Weems and the people I probably left out for all the help and input!
